An original wire service photo from my collection. There is no date, but it appears to be circa 1940's.
Strip on reverse reads "FAMOUS AUTOGRAPH COLLECTOR OF THE WORLD: O.P.S. I'll get him yet. So says F. Mikulac the world famous Autograph Collector who for the first time in his life was refused a signature. It was when he called at the Burden Estate on Long Island where the Prince of Wales was staying and he tried to get His Royal Highness to sign. The Prince signed several years ago but that makes no difference to Joseph. The more he gets the better. The book has 3000 pages and so far weighs about 50 lbs.
